EVE Online has been nominated by the Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences for best Massively Multiplayer Game of the Year, and they have promised their fans that they will celebrate victory by testing out how sharp those awards really are.  Other nominees in the category are world of warcraft, Tabula Rasa, Lord of the Rings Online, and Guild Wars: Eye of the North.

That’s right my free-floating friends. EVE Online: Trinity isn’t just making waves among fansites & industry webpage’s; apparently we’ve pulled The Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences’ attention. Our contacts have informed us that these awards are “soon to be bigger than the Oscars, and [the] statue is also much sharper, you could kill a man or two with that thing!” Not only do we agree on both points, we’re going to try out the second if we win.
