Yesterday YNKannounced that the closed beta phase for the english version of Rohan Online will start in march, and will last for about a week. Also, from the wording of the message, it seems that closed beta won't be followed by an open beta, but by the actual official release.
They also added that the english server will be open to everyone (in any nation) and that the game will be free to play, with the usual cash shop business model.

On a different note, having been playing on the Japanse server, I have to say that the game is really enjoyable (confirming my earlier impressions), expecially the art of characters and non player characters It's definately a step above all other free to play games.
