A Beginners’ Guide for Fly For Fun

keywords:

When entering the Flyff world, many newbies are at sea. What’s this class? What can/ should I do now? This section of the guide is specifically designed to guide you through the many trials and tribulations of the beginner stage of the game.
When you first create your character and log into Flyff, you will begin as a class called the Vagrant. A Vagrant is the basic class of the game. You will wear light cloth armor and fight with melee weapons while wielding a shield. The Vagrant stage will last until you have reached level 15, at which point you will be able to select one of the following advanced jobs, Mage, Assist, Mercenary, and Acrobat.
Mages are the spell-casters of Flyff and gain the ability to cast magical spells with the use of light cloth armor and their choice of either the staff or wand.
The Assist can major in either offensive attacking with the use of a knuckle weapon, or supporting as a healer with the use of helpful buffs and heals, which increase and ally’s stats and help recover hp.
Mercenaries are the warriors of Flyff. They have the ability to deal lethal damage to foes with the use of either a sword or axe and a shield.
Acrobats can possibly be the most lethal class in the game at times. The use either a yoyo or a bow weapon to attack.
But before you are faced with this choice you must make it through your vagrant stages. When you start out you are probably wondering “where am I? What should I do?” Well the answer to “where am I?” is Flaris. Flaris is the starting point in Flyff and the most basic city in all of Madrigal and Roika Mainland, which is the world Flyff takes place in. In Flaris you will find low level monsters with levels up to lvl 20 outside and some up to the upper 30’s and 40’s inside the dungeon. At first you will want to fight Aibatts. Aibatts Range from level 1-2 and you should fight a few of these till you level up. Congratulations! You are now level 2 and one step closer to achieving greatness! During your killing mobs, you will get the penya they lose, that the money in Flyff, obviously useful.

If you press the H key you will notice that you receive a character info screen with all of your characters stats. You should receive 2 stat points each level. Until 15 I highly recommend adding all stats into Strength, since this will help you will the monsters faster.
If you press K you will see that you received skill points. Even though there are skills available for vagrants I also highly recommend that you save your points for your advanced job skills.
After you have finished setting your stats, you can move onto killing again. Kill Aibatts until you feel tired of them and see that you are receiving little or no exp, or until you reach level 4. At this point you will want to move on to the Mushpang monsters which look like mushrooms with arms. Fight these until you are around level 6, and remember to add your stat points each time you level up. After level 6 you can go fight Puke-Pukes, and yes they are as ugly as their name suggests. You can fight these until around level 9 and still get good exp. Puke-Pukes have the best exp and drop rates for their level until around level 9 or 10, at which point you would want to move on. After reaching level 9 you can head over to the Demian Village, otherwise known as Madren Town on your map. Here you will find the evil children called the Demians. Fight these until you are level 11. After reaching level 11, Head out of Madren Town and north up the hill and to the left until you reach the Lawolves. Fight Lawolves until level 15 because they have really nice drop rates and exp rates as well.

Entering First Job

Once you have reached level 15 reports back to Flaris town and speak with the Job Info Official Who is standing next to [Public Office] Juria in Flaris. She will prompt you to select a job to transform into. Choose wisely based on your personal interests because you’re going to have to live with it the rest of your Flyff life, and you can’t change it. Once you have selected a job you will be prompted to speak with the official for that specific job.
For example, the Magician master is located in Saint Morning. You can get to Saint Morning by talking to [Magic] Marche in Flaris and purchasing the item called Blinkwing of Saint Morning. This item will teleport you to saint morning. When you reach SM, turn to your left and run until you see a big ramp with a lot of houses at the bottom, around those houses you will find your contact who will give your further instruction.
Complete the simple tasks they ask of you and then Congratulations! You are now first job. And until now, you must have a rough idea about Flyff, and begin to now what can you do in this game. But it’s only a start, there are more things waiting for you to be discovered in Flyff.

A Complete Guide to PvP in Fly for Fun

keywords:

PvP/PK system is one of the most amazing parts in Flyff for me, and I’ve PKed a lot of times. In this guide I will discuss how to be a successful Pker, or to avoid being Pked against your will. But, before I do that, there are a few terms used in the guide I will need to explain.

PvP- Player versus Player
PK- Player Kill
Karma- Can be positive or negative, depending on your actions
Kebaras- Jail Island
In the first section of this guide I will cover the Karma system for the PK server. Channel 4 of each server cluster is a PK (Player Kill) server. You are free to level here as you wish until you achieve level 15. At which point you become free game for Pkers. A Pker is a player who intentionally goes around killing anyone and everyone they see for their own personal enjoyment. If you wish to still play on the PK channel after level 15, beware and watch your surroundings at all times. If you attack a Neutral (Name displayed in white), Or other non-criminal character (Name may be displayed in order of karma from most positive to least Dark Blue, Green, or Light blue,) but do not kill them, you will receive -50 karma, and your name will become yellow or brown, making you a criminal. As a criminal you can be freely killed by anyone above level 15, at no karma cost to them. If you attack and kill someone with positive/neutral karma, you will receive -2000 Karma, and your name will become Purple. If you are killed as a criminal, you have a chance to lose items in your inventory (Including equipped items, and cash shop items.) You will also be sent to Kebaras Island (Jail) if you select the Loadlight or Loadstar options. If you are resurrected by a player, you will not go to jail, but will still have negative karma (unless you had less than -50 karma, in which case you will become neutral again) and be once again free to kill by players. Once you are in jail, if your name is yellow or brown, you may wait for your name to become white again over time or you may kill 50 mobs to receive your karma back. If your name is purple, you MUST do a quest to kill 200 monsters, or your karma will NOT go down. The quest can be obtained from the NPC next to the bank NPC in Kebaras town. After you kill the 200 monsters you were instructed to (Quest mobs are usually 1-3 levels below your current level,) return to the quest giver to have your karma removed. To get off of the island, you must either use a Key Of Kebaras island item, which can be obtained both as a drop from monsters on the island or a quest reward from collecting 30 beads of sin (beads of sin are found in the garden to the left of the bank,) or you may attack a guard NPC when you have positive or neutral karma, die, then select loadlight, and you will be off the island and at your currently saved Loadlight. If you receive a key, (The quest is given from the same NPC who gave you the quest for positive karma) Follow the road north, out of Kebaras town, until you come to a portal, double click your key to use it and congrats! You are now free from jail, and hopefully this experience has taught you a little something about compassion. (The alternative to the Kebaras quests to remove your karma is a Scroll of Forgive, which can be bought in the Cash Shop.)
As a conclusion, the Karma system encourages players not to attack or kill other players as their wish, but it also does not forbid it.
Now that I have discussed and explained Pking and becoming a Pker, I will focus for a while on the exact opposite, PKK (layer Killer Killers) or Bounty hunters. PK bounty hunters are those who go around and hunt those with negative karma. When they kill a criminal, they gain a bit of positive karma, whatever items the criminal drops, and get to see the lawbreaker go to jail. There actually can be pretty good flyff money in Pk hunting. Players drop flyff cash, and items off their bodies, and you may also collect bounty for their head if any has been posted. (Bounty officers are located at the bank NPC of each city, where you can post bounty on the last player to kill you or collect bounty on a recently killed criminal. The minimum bounty that may be set is 1,000 penya. You may also check the bounty list to see which players currently have bounty on their heads and how much.) However, if a player with bounty on their head has since became neutral or positive in terms of karma, you may still collect the bounty, but you will receive -2000 karma for killing him or her. Players may not be Pked in designated safe zones (Towns and Loadlights. Or while flying. If you wish to hunt Pkers, the best places to do it are: Directly outside Loadlights, and at the spawn point from Kebaras Island located at the entrance to Darkon near Carrierbombs.
I will now share some tips and tricks which may be useful in the PK server I have learned over my time here. One of the most important things I can stress for those of you who do not wish to obtain negative karma is be careful with your damage reflecting skills such as Crucio for Psykeepers, and Pain Dealer for Knights, because they will always hit first and you will become a criminal. Also, damage reflecting weapons such as Guardian Axe and Fist of Revenge work in the same way. The Arena outside of Saint Morning is usually used for duels in which both players must agree to duel, however, on the PK server, anything goes and anyone above level 15 is free game. You will not receive karma for killing someone in the arena, however if that person is a criminal, he/she may still drop items and flyff penya. If you kill a criminal in the arena, and he/she has bounty placed on his or her head, you may still collect it from the bounty officer. Another trick if you plan on going on the PK server is to go and get a light blue name. This can be done by first finding a friend that you can trust, whacking them once, and then letting them kill you so you go to jail. You want a friend to do this so that you will get your items back. Once you are in jail, speak to the NPC next to the bank. He will instruct you to kill 50 monsters to have your karma removed. DO NOT DO THIS QUEST!!!! Instead, sit down and wait on your karma to recover until once again you are white named. At this point you can either attack one of the guards, die, and resurrect at the loadlight. Or you may use a key, it is your choice. Once you are out of jail, find your friend again. This time attack and kill him or her, making your name purple, then immediately get on your board or broom and wait for them to come back. Make sure no one else is around, and let your friend kill you. Then go back to jail yet again. This time get the quest to kill 200 monsters. Do both of them and turn them in so that you now have a light blue name and a good amount of positive karma. Now you may leave Kebaras, and you will be less tempting to passing Pkers. You may also get Green, and dark blue names. You should always be careful when you AoE on the PK server, because sometimes players will come on a low level character and get where you are AoEing, making it attack and kill them. Then a high level friend of there’s drops down and kills you and they get your items and flyff money, and you lose 3% exp.

On the other channels which are not PK, the arena can still be used for duels. Both players must agree to the duel and cannot be more than 30 levels apart. When you kill someone in the arena, you gain fame points. The more of these you have the better title you will have. Titles appear ahead of your characters name, and vary with your class. If you run outside of the arena you will forfeit the duel. Classes to beware of in PvP are: Psykeepers, Bow Jesters, Yoyo Jesters, and sometimes Billposters. The use of food is not allowed in the arena during your battles, however, this is only a player made rule and if you do it you won’t get into any trouble, but it’s not recommended. Which they get over it eventually, but using food makes it unfair and less fun so I suggest you don’t do it.

There are many factors which can affect the results of the your PKs and many of them depend on your game experience and luck, what you can only do is to get yourself fully armed, using all of your penya to buy the most powerful items, that’s the foundation of victory.

A rough introduction about Fly for Fun online

keywords:

Flyff is a very interesting and unique game, I love it very much.
Here are some my views on it.
1) This game isn’t a quest based game, so if you enjoy questing to level up find a new one.
2) If you want a solo game, this is not the game for you.
3) This game is not a nation based game.
4) Potions have a cool down time.
5) The skill system works by points, every level you get more points to spent on skills
6) There is a skill chain combo system, you’ll have to try it to understand it.
7) There is a cash shop, and this game is kind of cash shop based.
8)You can fly, but only at level 20.
9) There is a pet system, the pets pick up all loots which are on the floor in light speed.
10) The only character customization is choosing hair, eyes and items
There are 4 classes each with their own unique skills.
Assistant-
Capable of being either a healer or a fighter, they can buff themselves and stun monsters and players in combat. (A buff is an improvement magic to a stat)
Their weapon choice is either a stick, what is used for healing and buffing or an knuckle what they equip to their right hand.
Mercenary-
Your typical fighter class can use damage and defense buffs on themselves and some shiny weak combat skills.
Their weapon choice is either an axe or a sword, the axe deals out more damage but it slower, where as the sword is faster but weaker.
Acrobat-
This class is your split between archer and yo-yo’s.
Their skills range from being able to disappear, shoot cool arrow skills and stun enemies with yo-yo skills.
Their weapon choice is either and bow with arrows what deals more damage, but costs more money due to having to reload arrows or a set of yo-yo’s what are weaker but can knock back the enemy and has a wider Varity of skills
Mage-
Your typical mage, their skills are spilt between the elements of Fire, Wind, Earth and Water.
These guys are your main damage dealers due to being able to switch between elements to deliver more damage to monsters.
Their weapon choice is either a Staff what requires 2 hands and deals slightly more damage or a wand and a shield what slightly reduces damage, but raises defense.
The 2nd class job change choices
At level 60 each class is given the choice to choose between 2 classes, for that class. Usually the player has determined what 2nd class they would be, because you base the stats on that 2nd class, unless you buy a restat from the cash shop.
When becoming the 2nd job you keep all the skills you had at your first class.
Assistants
Ringmaster or a Bill poster.
Ringmasters are the specialist healers, buffers and even monster killing machines with a special AoE (Area of effect) skill what damages the things inside it 5 times if they stay inside the damaging area. Ringmasters also use posters what you can buy at the shop to cast a strong buff and to use their AoE. They stick with their Sticks for the rest of their sad little life.
Bill posters are specialist fighters what use “posters” to increase their damage slightly and just push the life out of any monster in their sight. And these guys stick with their knuckle for most of the time, except when their buffing themselves.
Mercenary
Blade or a Knight
Knights are your hardcore tank, meat shield and 2handed axe or sword wielder.
They are capable of fighting a lot of monsters at once and take minimum damage as well as stun the monsters while doing so.
They are also capable of destroying a monster in light speed with a devastating power, these knights are called 1v1 dex knights. Tank knights always use axes, due to the power increase. Low level 1v1 dex knights would use swords because of the speed bonus, then at higher levels when they have more dex use axes.
Acrobat
Jester or Ranger
Jesters are split into 2 types, either a “BJ”, go ahead and laugh or a Yo-yo jester. ”BJ” stands for bow jester, if you’re wondering why a jester is using a bow, it’s because Jesters, when they become one obtain a critical rate increase what makes bows more powerful, they use bows and arrows
Yo-yo jesters get awesome skills what terrorize in pvp and can hit hard in higher levels, use yoyo’s. The jester class relies on attack speed and critical hits and evasion.
Rangers are your knight except they can’t tank very well, use magic and arrows. Instead of tanking they rely on evasion and instead of whacking monsters with a big weapon they fire magic arrows what have an AoE effect, use bow and arrows.
Mage
Elementor or psykeeper.
Elementors are masters of the 4 elemental magic’s, they can do extreme damage and also become a tank, and they take low damage, hit hard and have really awesome looks skills. Elementors are kind of the gods of PvP, also annoying people in PvP. Elementors always use Staffs for the extra damage bonus as well as the staff’s bonuses.
Psykeepers mostly know as devils, they use magic which can stun, hit hard and fast and can float. Psykeepers have a nifty skill what use to be a hax skill but now has been nerfed, it can reflect half of the damage the psykeeper takes and automatic hit it back to the damage dealer. Psykeepers can either become 1v1 psykeepers or AoE psykeepers, AoE psykeepers are now not as effective due to having their hax skill nerfed. Psykeepers have a wide Varity of skills what are fun to use; they also use wands and shields.
Contribution parties
Leveling in this game is easy, you just have to prepare, in the game there’s a thing called “Contribution party” these parties make you gain exp either lower then double or double as fast!
Contribution parties are created when your party reaches level 10, you can only get the bonus exp from this party if there is someone either lower then 19 levels above you, or lower then 19 levels lower then you.
You and that person must be near each other on the map to receive the bonus. The more players that party has the more exp everyone gets.
Map
Flyff has a massive world map, and 3 different towns, Flaris, Saint morning and Darkon.
Flaris is the town for lower levels.
Saint morning is for medium.
Darkon is for high.
You can even fly from Flaris to Saint Morning and Darkon on your board or broom.
Monsters
Flyff has tons of monsters to be slain and monsters are located in big patches so you can grind on one thing in one area.
There are boss monsters what have a large drop rate and can drop a lot of items what you can sell to the npc.
Items
Flyff has a massive range of items to pick from, the list is endless each set of clothing has its own look, so it gives players something to look forward to as they level.
There is also a wide range of weapons with different looks, Flyff will not disappoint you with all the looks of the items.
 PvP???
There are many different types of “player versus player” things you can do in this, some boring some interesting.
-Arena (A map you can warp through via a Arena warp what is located in Darkon, in there you can openly attack and kill people in the ring, without any punishment or benefits)
-Duel (You can challenge players who are in either 30 levels below you or 30 levels above you, you gain no benefits or punishments)
-Party duel (When there are 2 parties with the same amount of players, the leader of one of the parties may challenge another leader and can engage in combat, when the leader of the other team is killed, the opposing team wins)
-Guild wars (A guild leader may challenge another guild leader to engage in a full guild vs guild battle, any online guild members can take part, when the guild leader is killed, the opposing guild wins. The guild stats record the wins and lose of guild wars.
-Guild siege (Guilds may participate in a all guild vs. guild battle in a arena, but must pay a very expensive fee to enter, prizes are incredible)
I won’t add the pk system because it only works on one server and it’s been changed, so I’ll let you work it out for yourself.
Flying
Flyff has quite interesting flying system but, it won’t keep you entertained for a long period of time.
You have a choice of either hover board or broom, once you hit your board or broom key or double click it, it will have a waiting time for the item to load.
When loaded, simply tapping the space key will start to make your flying cruiser move.
There are a handful of boards and brooms to choose from; the more expensive they are the faster they move.
Quests
The quests in this game aren’t exactly a wow factor, they range from killing monsters, collecting monster quest items, collecting item off the floor and talking to some NPCs.
Quests like collecting monster quest items reward you with penya (In game currency) and 20%, what at high levels is awesome.
The only interesting quests are the party quests, what are insanely hard to organize and the job changing ones.
Potions
Potions in this game are mainly considered “food and sweets”, they do have a timer, different foods have different time limits.
You can easily find food from killing monsters, or you can purchase them from the NPC.
Food in this game doesn’t heal a major amount of hp or mp, except the ones what you spend a lot of money on.
Mp recovering items are potions, not food, food isn’t magical enough.
Player made shop system
You simply drag the item from your inventory into the shop box, type in or press the keys into what you want to price it as, write a shop title, and click ok. By this way, you can earn Penya, the formation of gold in flyff.
Unfortunately you can’t create buying shops in this game, only selling, also there is a limited amount of items you may put into a shop, and there are no punishments or benefits for creating a shop.
Except when you make one on a NPC.
Dungeons
There is a dungeon in every town, so you won’t be disappointed; each dungeon has its own monsters and maps.
You can explore them with friends and maybe find something rare from one of the monsters!
Note: The higher level dungeons are located in the higher level maps, so if you plan to explore the higher level dungeons, make sure your high level.
By the way, if you want to enjoy your game without the boring process of farming and finishing quests, www.ogpal.com will help you get rid of them. Our customer service will make sure you are more than satisfied with every purchase!
