Our solicitation of Father’s Day manuscripts has finished already. And we are gald to receive the stories from our customer. Here is a story sent by Eric Mantis from Netherland, a loyal customer and old friend of OGPAL. From the touching story, we are deeply moved by the paternal love. Let’s give our best regards to this father.
Me and my dad, where separated when I was 17 years old, because my mom and dad got divorced. After more then 5 years, I finally got my stuff together and went to the house of my father to meet him again. He wanted to be a part of my live again. So he took me in his home, and wanted to know all about me, what I do now, what I did in the past 5 years and so on. When telling about my life now, and what I do, and did the last couple of years. I also told him about me playing online games, I let him see Maple Story what I played for more then 2 years when I met him again. He told me he wanted to try the game himself, because he liked the looks of the game, so I made an account for him and we played together Maple Story. By playing the game, the process of getting along with each other went faster and more fun. We sometimes played together till it was around 3 – 4 am in the morning, and where half sleeping in our chairs. My dad is 59 years old, and he couldn’t even turn on the computer without help, but even with the lack of skills to use the computers. He tried his best to play with me, so we could bond again. Now my relationship with my dad is again normal just like before my parents got divorced. That’s why I love my dad, and he’s my hero again, a man I want to become when I’m old and grey.
So I’m really happy I got to know to Maple Story, and OgPal that kept me going on with there mesos, so my relation ship with my dad is back to what it was before the divorce, maybe even better.
