Runescape Money Guide

keywords: and

You must be tired and sick of being teased by names because you cannot afford most things like other people. If making money seems to take forever, this runescape money guide is for you.

It has quests to complete, monsters to slay, and friends to meet. Innumerable features, a free to play game option makes it worth a ‘check-out’.

There are runescape money guides to Runescape FAQ, Street prices, Experience formula, Free Places, RS Talk-a-tive, Runescape Skills, Cooking guide, Fetching Guide, Combat Training.

These guides help you to acquire runescape skills. These are the abilities that enable you to do things in the runescape game. When you use ability to utilize a skill, you gain experience in that skill. Your amount of experience determines the level of that skill. Abilities of higher level give more experience. An increase in experience points is needed to reach each new level.

Train on low level monsters in combat at places where there are many of them. Free world has several places with level 2 rats (8 x p). The best places exist in members with level 1 gnomes (also 8 x p) – Gnome Village and Battle Field. You can train you characters in dungeons, castles, and sewers. Monsters in between cities are generally not aggressive. Powerful monsters with valuable treasures are found in the wilderness. They can attack you at any time. To gain levels, you need to focus on three main skills: Attack, Strength, and Defense.

A player cannot trim armor. Treasure Trails is the only way to get trimmed or God armor. They are a rare drop that monsters drop on Member Worlds. They give a series of clues. After you complete all the clues, a prize awaits for you. Trimmed items have the same stats as basic armor and so can be used on free servers.

Various foods are included in runescape which need to be eaten to restore health. Rare or harder to make foods generally restore more health than more common one. An increase in cooking level will enable you to cook more and more complex types of food.

Runescape Money Making Smithing Guide

keywords: and

Are the ores in your bank getting you all dirty? Make them into bars and get rid of them for Runescape money!

Level 1-30:

Make bronze bars from copper and tin ores. Then, sell them to buyers on forums (you don’t have to be a member to look for them) for as much as 100 each. If you get bored of making bronze bars, then at level 20 smithing you can make silver bars. They can also sell for high prices on the forums.

Level 30-50:

Make steel bars from iron ore and 2 coal. Sell them for 600 each to buyers on forums. If you get bored, you can make gold bars at level 40 smithing and sell them for 200 each. If you are a member and you want massive experience, then do the Family Crest quest and get goldsmith gauntlets. If you make gold bars with the goldsmith gauntlets, then you can get more experience from them than if you were smithing rune bars.

Level 50-70:

Make mith bars from mith ore and 4 coal. Sell them for 1k each to buyers on forums.

Level 70-85:

Make adamant bars from adamantite ore and 6 coal. Sell them for 3k each to buyers on forums.

Level 85+:

Continue making whatever you’re doing or you can start making rune bars with 1 rune ore and 8 coal. Rune bars can be sold for 12-13k to buyers on the forums; however, for f2p (free to play) players, the only rune rocks are found in high-level wilderness.

Runescape Money Making Mining Guide

keywords: and

Are you frustrated with rocks intimidating you with their weird colors? Follow my guide to give them what they deserve, while profiting from them.

If you plan on training mining only, then you can do the rune mysteries quest and mine rune essence to sell for 35 each. If you plan on training mining and smithing, then mine copper and tin (Falador mine is best due to the proximity of the bank and the furnace) to make into bronze bars that can be sold for 100 each. Check the forums on Runescape to find bronze bar buyers (you don’t have to be a member).

Level 6-21:

Either way, by this time you should have enough Runescape Money to buy a steel pickaxe from Nurmof (inside the Falador mine). Use the steel pickaxe and continue mining the essence or copper and tin.

Level 21-31:

Now, go buy a mithril pickaxe from Nurmof with the Runescape Money you’ve earned and use it to mine iron rocks in the southern portion of the Falador mine (low level miners mine here). Sell the iron ore at Falador bank for 100 each on world 1-5 (whichever isn’t full when you look).

Level 31-41:

Go buy an adamant pickaxe from Nurmof with your Runescape Money. Mine the iron in the northern portion of Falador mine now. If the scorpions hurt you too much, then you can still mine the iron where you were before.

Level 41-60:

Go buy a rune pickaxe from Nurmof or from players for 32k (32,000 coins) if there isn’t one at his shop. Mine any coal rocks you can find (many coal rocks will be used by higher-level miners). Sell the coal for 180 each on worlds 1-5. An alternative may be to mine gold rocks in the crafting guild if you have over level 40 crafting or anywhere else you can find them. You can then sell the gold ores for 450-500 each (just find a buyer in the forums).

Level 60-70:

You now have access to the mining guild. There are 37 coal rocks and 5 mithril rocks in the mine. You can continue to mine coal or gold, but you can also mine mithril rocks that sell for 400 each on the forums.

Level 70-85:

You can continue mining the rocks you did from level 60-70; however, at level 70 you can mine adamantite ores that sell for over 1k each.

Level 85+:

Congratulations, you can mine rune; however, for f2p (free to play) players, the only rune rocks are found in high wilderness. The ores can be sold for 12k each, so it’s your choice to mine them or not.

Runescape Magic Guide

keywords: , and

Jealous of high-hitting mages? Use this guide to beat them at their own game.

Level 1-20:

Get 1k (1,000) air and mind runes in RuneScape. That should be more than enough to get to level 20 magic. If you want to train magic faster, then get some water, earth, and fire runes as well. Use the highest level strike (air - fire strike) that you can. If you don’t have a high defense, then I suggest finding a place where you aren’t attacked if you attack the monster. A good place would be cows near Lumbridge.

Magic does more damage when attacking NPC’s (non-player characters) with armor on. If you aren’t interested in raising your hp level while leveling your magic, then do the Imp Catcher quest and the Witch’s Potion quest. Doing so would raise your magic level to 10 without raising your hp level. From there, you can use curses. To use curses, you will need 489 water, 326 earth, and 163 body runes. When cursing in RuneScape, you don’t raise hp levels. This would be good for a magic pure.

Level 20-41:

Get 6k air runes and 3k chaos runes in RuneScape. Again, get some water, earth, and fire runes to speed up the process. Use the highest level bolt (air - fire bolt) that you can. If you were fighting cows, I would suggest finding another monster that has more hp, maybe skeletons and ghosts in the Varrock sewers. If you decide to do this, then get on the side opposite of the skeletons and ghosts and shoot them from there.

At level 39 magic, you can cast crumble undead on these monsters to hit them harder. If you are a pure and still wanting to keep 10 hp (I wouldn’t recommend this in RuneScape), then continue to curse. If you are member, castle wars are a good place to train.

Level 41-55:

You can continue to use fire bolt or crumble undead, or you can now use wind blast in RuneScape. It will take 6k chaos if you decide to continue with fire bolt or crumble undead, 5k deaths if you decide to use wind blast. At level 43, you can use superheat item, so that is another way. This is very profitable for both f2p (free to play) and members if you have at least 50 smithing.

Buy the mith ores and coal, then get a fire staff and some natures and smelt them into mith bars (lowest available bars that make it profitable in RuneScape). Then sell them for a profitable price (don’t forget the price of the natures) to buyers on the forums.

Level 55+:

You can continue with whatever you’ve been doing, or you can now switch to high alching items. For members, this is a very good idea because it can become profitable. High alching yew bows and up is good Runescape Money. At level 59 magic, you can use fire blast, which is the most powerful spell on f2p worlds. The max hit is 16 without prayer.

Runescape Fishing Guide

keywords: and

Have no use for that net of yours? How about catching fish? This guide will show you how to become a champion angler in RuneScape.

Go to Al-Kharid with a net. Go south of the bank and net there. If you plan on training your cooking level as well, then after you get a set, go to the range north of the bank and cook them there.

Level 20-40:

Kill chickens (their feathers are needed to catch fish) in RuneScape. You are going to need a lot of feathers (at least 656). Buy a fly fishing rod from the fishing store in Port Sarim or from players. Have both the rod and feathers in your inventory and fish in the river east of Barbarian Village. If you are training cooking still, then use the fires in Barbarian Village bar to cook on. If you plan to keep them, there’s a bank north of the fishing spot.

Level 40-60:

Here’s where you’ll be making lots of Runescape Money. Make sure you have lobster pot (from Port Sarim fishing shop) and 60 coins. Go east of the Port Sarim fishing shop and right-click a sailor and choose pay 30 coins. You will now be on Karamja, the only place to fish lobsters on f2p (free to play) worlds. If you are a member, Catherby is the best place to fish for lobsters. Sell the raw lobsters or cook them and use them.

Level 60+:

You can continue to fish lobsters, or you can switch to swordfish. Swordfish heal more and are worth more; however, you will also catch tuna, making it longer to fish a set of swordfish. If you’re a member when you get level 76 fishing, then you can fish sharks that are worth lots more.

Runescape Crafting Guide

keywords: and

Are the sharp edges of uncut gems hurting you in RuneScape? Learn to smooth them out with this guide.

Level 1-40:

Kill cows and take their cowhides in RuneScape. Go bank, or you can go to Al-Kharid and make it into leather immediately. Talk to Tanner and choose normal leather. Then go to the Al-Kharid crafting shop in the east and by a needle and 100 threads. Now use the needle on the leather to make any leather that you can. Always make the highest form of leather possible. When you get to level 28 crafting, and then make hard leather instead of normal leather. Now do the same thing as before, but make hard leather bodies. You can store them in your bank or sell them at the shop.

Level 40+:

Go to the crafting guild with a brown apron on and mine silver in RuneScape. Grab a tiara mould before you leave the guild. Smith the silver ores into bars and then use the bars on the furnace when holding a tiara mould to make a tiara. It yields 52.5 experiences, better than making gold items; however, if you happen to come upon gems, then cut them, get a gold bar, and use them on the furnace when having the correct mould for the desired object. If you’re a member, then when possible, make d’hide. Another way to gain experience for members who’ve done the Shilo Village quest is to mine the gem rocks in the village.

Runescape Cooking Guide

keywords: , and

Tired of eating raw or burnt fish in RuneScape? Follow this guide and open your taste buds to a whole new delicacy: cooked fish!

Level 1-15:

Cook anything you can in RuneScape. Sardines and herring give the best experience, so I suggest cooking them. If you plan on fishing and cooking sardines and herring, then you can go to the fishing spots south of Al-Kharid bank.

Level 15-30:

Cook trout and salmon in RuneScape. If you want to fish and cook, then go to Barbarian Village and use the fires in the bar.

Level 30-40:

You can keep cooking trout and salmon in RuneScape, or you can start cooking tuna. The only place to fish tuna on f2p (free to play) worlds is at Karamja. In order to get there, go to Port Sarim and find a sailor, right-click him and pay 30 coins. If you plan to go, then bring 60 coins, a harpoon, a wc (woodcutting) axe, and a tinderbox. After you’re done fishing the tuna, then go to the tree near the place where you came onto Karamja and cut it. Then make a fire and cook the tuna. If you want to keep the cooked tuna in RuneScape, then go bank and bring 60 more coins.

Level 40-55:

Keep going to the same place, but this time fish lobsters.

Level 55+:

You can cook pretty much anything you want if you’re f2p in RuneScape. If you’re not afraid of going past level 20 wilderness, then you can go to bandit camp and make anchovy pizzas. Bring a little Runescape Money and a net. Buy some dough from the guy near the range, then grab the tomato and cheese and add it to the dough. Cook the pizza. Then go fish some anchovies, cook them, and then put them on the pizza.

Runescape Combat Guide

keywords: and

Can’t find a good place to train in RuneScape? This guide will help you find just what you’re looking for.

Level 3:

First starting out, good places to train are at the goblin’s house east of lumbridge (the place you start at after tutorial island) or cows near the crafting guild (southwest of Falador). Scimitars are recommended weapons (shop found in Al-Kharid).

Level 30:

Al-Kharid palace in RuneScape is a good place to train at this level. Bring food if you don’t wear armor higher than steel. More good things to train on are dwarves at Falador mine, dark wizards south of Varrock, and level 13 zombies in the Varrock sewers.

Level 40:

Hill giants in RuneScape are now easily killed and the big bones can be sold for over 300 each. Other things that you can train on are level 28 hobgoblins near the crafting guild and ghosts and zombies in the Varrock sewers.

Level 50:

Jail guards near Draynor Village are good sources for experience. You don’t even have to worry about food if you have 3 valuable items or less with you when you die. Just walk back from Lumbridge when you do die.

Level 70+:

Lesser demons found in Karamja volcano are now good to train on. Greater demons in the Wilderness are also good sources for experience if you don’t mind dying in RuneScape (if you have 3 items or less). By this time, you should be getting a good idea of what is good to train on. I know it’s hard and long, but personally, I switch it up so I don’t get bored too fast.

How to Use Effective Pking Strategies in Runescape

keywords:

Aaahhh Pking! It is one of the most popular things to do in Runescape. But how do you pk correctly? This guide will teach you some of the secrets of PKing, and you might learn something about the way Runescape works. P.S. This is a guide for the free-to-play version of the game.

Steps

1.                   Be ready. One of the dumbest things you can do is got into the wildy (wilderness) unprepared. To enter the wildy you need lots of things.

2.                   Food. Without food the entire operation falls apart. Food is the mana of life and the thing that will save your life.

3.                   Armor. No duh but what about the right armor.

4.                   Armor for mages. If you are a mage I suggest the following things. Blue Robes Top, Monk Robes Bottom OR Leather Chaps (depends if u want defence or prayer), and a Blue Hat (just to match).

5.                   Armor for Rangers. If you are a ranger I suggest this armor. Full Green Dragon-Hide (this includes Body, Chaps, And Vambraces) and Simple Leather Boots.

6.                   Armor for Melee. For melee PKers I suggest the following. Full rune armor,Battle Boots (found at the end of the stronghold of security), and Dragon-Hide Vambraces (if you don’ have the level 40 required ranged to use them then just go with Leather Gloves).

7.                   Weapon Choices. Well everyone needs a weapon.

8.                   Mage Weapon. I suggest you go with an elemental staff. Pick the element that you have the least runes of because the staff replaces one type of rune. (Staffs can be bought at Zaff’s Staff Shop in varrok square. North-West of the fountain.)

9.                   Ranged Weapon. A maple shortbow would be best because it is quicker than the longbow but does the same damage. Also you should take at least mithril arrows (addamant are best).

10.               Melee Weapon. I would go with a rune scimitar and a rune kiteshield. The scimitar is the quickest weapon but is also very powerful.

11.               Potions. The only potion a non-member can use is a strength potion. If you are a melee attacker I would take one strength potion (4 doses) which will easily last you one pk trip.

12.               The Location. SO now you are outfitted for battle but where will you go to find a victim. PKing is no fun if you have no-one to kill. So here are some suggested locations.

13.               Dark Knight Castle. This building is a living death trap with only one way out. If you go here you can expect a kill but make sure you aren’t trapped yourself.

14.               Demonic Ruins. Lost of high level people come up here to train. Make sure you are high enough of a level to take these crazed people who fight there.

15.               Bandit Camp. This is a good place to go. If you are low on food the head on over and make yourself a Pizza. Or you can hunt other people who are making Pizzas for themselves.

16.               Those are just a few of the places to PK. Anywhere in the wildy will do but those places usually have someone there.

17.               The Actual Battle. Now that you know where to go we can educate you on the way of a PKer.

18.               Mage Battle Style vs. melee. Ok first thing you need to do in RuneScape is find a victim. If it is a melee fighter then use the spell bind to hold them in place. Then run a fair way away and cast spells at them until they get close. Then Bind-Run-Cast-Bind etc. It’s kind of a rinse lather repeat thing.

19.               Mage Battle Style vs. ranged. Now here you have two choices. Either run or try your luck and mage the pest.

20.               Mage Battle Style vs. mage. Sweet and simple. Just keep casting spells and hope for the best.

21.               Ranged Battle Style vs. melee. All I can say is run. You cant damage them and they will cut you to pieces. Or if you find as good barricade you can attempt to kill them.

22.               Ranged Battle Style vs. mage. You already have this battle won. Just keep shooting.

23.               Ranged Battle Style vs. ranged. Keep shooting and eating. Usually the better ranged level wins.

24.               Melee Battle Style vs. mage. Take off that armor and charge the mage. Chaneces are though that they will bind you and run.

25.               Melee Battle Style vs. ranged. Charge them and you have it won. They have no defense against you.

26.               Melee Battle Style vs. melee. This is just a battle of the brawn. The stronger hte better.

Tips

·                      Always get ready to run in RuneScape. But don’t give up straight out. Run a little ways and eat up then go back for more. But if things are looking grim then just get out of there.

·                      Try the "DD" or Dot Of Death in RuneScape. With a friend stand on the same spot so that anyone coming by only sees one dot on their mini-map. Then you both lunge out and slay the fool.

·                      Teleportation in RuneScape. If you are above level 25 magic them keep teleporting rune with you. They may save you that 200k for a new set of rune armor.
